Project: West Pea Ridge Bridge
This project involved the study, design and preparation of contract plans and related documents for the bridge rehabilitation, and approach roadway thereto, to carry Cabell County Route 60/1 over Interstate 64 in Cabell County, West Virginia.

The bridge consists of a three ( 3 ) span composite continuous AASHTO Type IV prestressed concrete superstructure with a composite cast-in-place reinforced concrete deck supported by existing abutments and solid shaft piers with hammerhead caps.  The bridge span totals 344.5' with a clear width of 30' and is on a tangent alignment.  Substructure work included rehabilitation and widening of the pier caps and abutment seats to accommodate the new superstructure.

Roadway design responsibilities consisted of the preparation of preliminary and final designs, several miles of temporary detour signing and maintenance of traffic signing on Interstate 64 as well as geometric layout and design for the improvement of the two lane facility over a distance of approximately 400'.
