Project: Twelvepole Creek Bridge
This project involved the study, design and preparation of contract plans and related documents for a bridge, and approach roadway thereto, to connect Wayne County Route 5 to Wayne County Route 3 over Twelvepole Creek in Wayne County, West Virginia.

The bridge consists of a five ( 5 ) span composite continuous AASHTO Type IV prestressed concrete superstructure with a composite cast-in-place reinforced concrete deck supported by integral abutments and solid shaft piers with hammerhead caps.  The bridge span total 680' with a clear width of 34'and is on a 18 degree skew.

Roadway design responsibilities consisted of the preparation of preliminary and final designs, right-of-way plans, drainage study and design including hydraulic analysis of Twelvepole Creek, utility relocation plans, temporary signing and maintenance of traffic plans as well as geometric layout and design for the improvement of the two lane facility over a distance of approximately 2,900' as well as 800' of side connector roads.
