Randolph Engineering was contracted to provide design analysis and stamped and sealed drawings for various lifting jigs which were to be fabricated to lift Toyota engines at the Toyota plant in Buffalo, West Virginia.

The jigs are specialized devices used to lift and orient the engines for testing purposes. Additional responsibilities included the participation and observation of load testing and certification of one of the more complicated jigs.
